DetCon
anti-tap-regulation is used to prevent capital engine damage, which is caused by tapping combustion, particularly when using gases with different qualities (methane number).

MOTORTECH TriDev Trigger Drives
To make the installation of impulse sensor-controlled electronic ignition systems simpler, MOTORTECH has developed the TriDev trigger drive. This drive is installed in place on the ignition generator. An internal trigger disc, equipped with different trigger arrangements, provides simple assembly.


Camshaft Trigger Drives
In the case that the installation of a pickup is not possible, MOTORTECH will supply you with a trigger drive to your specification for your engine. Our experiences in this segment make it possible for us to manufacture tailor-made products for simple and rapid installation.

More than 900 different ignition leads and connection combinations for virtually any engine application are available for you. Today, our brand names of PolyMot™ and HyperFlon™ stand for the highest level of quality and reliability.

By using high-quality materials like Teflon and ceramics, we guarantee a long life for our ignition leads and an extension of the durability of your spark plugs.

We are happy to label the Teflon sleeves with your name or logo and item number – to provide a positive image of your company – and without extra charges .

Data Visualization

With the PowerView data display with touch screen, MOTORTECH presents a versatile hardware platform to visualize and control the functions of CAN bus capable devices.

PowerView’s task is to group, process, visualize and save all data from the CAN bus networked devices in real-time.

Ignition Monitor

Display of the following operating data from the ignition:
Engine rotation speed, ignition timing, ignition energy, status of the ignition, error message.

For use with the MOTORTECH ignition control devices MIC500 series and MIC750 series.

Spark Failure Recognition

Secure recognition of spark failure with help of the engine speed pickup signal.

Our recommendation:
EmCon5 compound regulation in combination with the MFD500 provides the highest engine reliability.

Spark Plug Extensions

For applications, where an ignition coil is attached to the valve cover, a PolyMot™ spark plug extension is required to make the connection between the ignition coil and spark plug.

Manufactured from Teflon or HyperFlon™ in combination with ceramics, ensuring the best possible insulation against spark cross-cut.

Ignition Voltage Measurement Systems

The SparkScan series is a measurement system for the visualization of ignition voltages. Three different versions are available: SparkScan1 is suitable for all types of “open” ignition leads. SparkScan2 and 3 were developed particularly for Caterpillar® engines from the G3500 series and WAUKESHA engines from the VHP, VGF, AT series, where the pick-up points for voltage measurement are located under the valve covers.

Acer n30 Pocket PC

As an option, MOTORTECH offers the Acer n30 Pocket PC as a reading device for the SparkScan. In addition, data can be saved and then transferred to a PC or laptop for evaluation or archiving.

Cabling Systems

MOTORTECH cabling systems are individually produced for almost every gas engines and in a multitude of applications.

Unshielded Cable Loops
We manufacture entrance, exit and pickup cable loops in house for the most varying of ignition systems.
Cable loops and cablings, specially produced in accordance with customer specifications, for competitor products are also available, such as Altronic CPU, DIS or DISN ignition systems.

Shielded Cable Loops
For explosive areas, we offer CSA inspected cable loops for the most varying of applications, also manufactured by us. CSA certified (Class I, Division 2, Group D)

Sensor Cable Loops
MOTORTECH produces high-quality sensor cable loops, designed for any gas engine, equipped with oil pressure/oil temperature sensors and charge air temperature/charge pressure sensors.

Complete Cabling Tracks

For older gas engines, cabling is frequently a source of error, and fixing cabling problems can take a lot of time. This is why, MOTORTECH develops and supplies complete cabling systems for the most varying of uses, e.g. for: ignition, tapping recognition, thermo-elements, unshielded or shielded applications, etc. The cables are encased in a metal casing, protecting them from, for example, vibrations and other mechanical influences. Every system is completely checked and tested in accordance with DIN ISO 9001.
